Sri Lanka Caller ID Fix & Region Formats (පියවර 4න්)

කාලෙක ඉඳල ලියන්න කියලා හිතා ගෙන හිටිය දෙයක් තමයි අද මම ඔයගොල්ලොත් එක්ක බෙදා ගන්න මේ යන්නෙ.

iPhone එකක් පාවිච්චි කලා හෝ කරනවනම් ඔබ දන්නව Settings → General → International → Region Format ගියාම එතන Sri Lanka කියලා තෝරන්න නෑ. ගොඩක් වලාවට අපේ තියෙන්නෙ 'United States' කියලා. ඒකට හේතුව මම හිතන්නේ ලංකාවේ iPhones officially විකුණන්නේ නැතිනිසා Apple සමාගම 'Sri Lanka' ඇතුලත් කරලා නෑ.

නමුත් මෙතන Sri Lanka Region එක තිබීමෙන් තියන වාසිය මොකක්ද? ඔබ සමහර විට දන්නවා වෙන්නත් පුලුවන්.... ඒ තමයි ඒක සම්පූර්ණ ෆෝන් එකේ වෙනසක් කම් වලට බල පානවා. උදා: Phone numbers formatting (a), Sri Lankan currency detection by Apps that has accounting figures (b), caller ID fix in SMS, Contacts save without having to omit # '0' and .lk on keyboad (c)

පියවර :

1- මේ සඳහා iPhone එක jailbreak කර එසේ නැතිනම් root access තිබිය යුතුයි. ( google කිරීමේන් මේ සඳහා විස්තර ලබා ගත හැකියි.

2- ඔබේ iPhone එකේ තිබෙන software version එකට අදාළ ෆිලේ එක පමණක් බාගත (download) කරන්න

3- Download කරගත් ෆයිල් එක්ක iPhone file browser එකක් හරහා ( iFunbox : www.i-funbox.com or WinSCP ) /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppSupport.framework/ පාත් එකට කොපි කරන්න. (ඊට පෙර එහි දැනට ඇති 'Default.phoneformat' ෆියිල් එක .bak ලෙස rename කර හෝ පරිගනකයට කොපි කර තබා ගන්න)

4- දැන් 'Cydia' වලින් iFile install කරගන්න (for full version add 'cydia.xsellize.com' -repo)

Open iFile app-> Turn ON hidden files in iFile Settings

Go to this path

/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist

Click and open it in 'Property List Viewer' or Text Viewer

end of the file you will see 'AppleLocale' change it to… :

(currently it must be in en_US)

en_LK

or if you want Sinhala letters in calender and date set it to 'si_LK'

important :
